We are using server based rules and SpamJam...

Spamjam is processed by each clients mail database so that configurations can be set by the individual user. The problem is that some words or phrases if placed in the Server Rules might produce a False Positive. As an example if the subject contains the word "Inkjet" I want to reject it, but for the person in purchasing this would be a False Positive. So the combination of Server Rules and a client based filter works well for me.
